The old sailor's dock is still the same
Though forgotten by others, nature still remembers
Here we used to to disappear
into those beautifully drawed images of our future schemes
Winters here are cold and calm
I build a house to keep you warm
Imagined how you could paint while I write my songs
for years I've thought this is where we belong
Beautifully unaware of reality's thorn
Eva is there gazing at the horizon
Wondering what life could be at it's best
before we all kneel down to our final rest
Once again I'll take her hand 'cause I have this story to tell
This notebook of true love which always ends with dreary farewell
I've told this story a thousand times indeed
Somehow it always finishes incomplete
Beautiful as always Eva is there by the sea
Up there on the cliff, she never sees me
I've these written pages to impart
'cause every thawing day keeps us apart
As I make it there with my words, finally
Instead of seeing you react merrily
Just a dying glint on your innocent eyes
Like I would have told thousand lies
