Toukokuussa ensimmäisen kerran järjestetyt Lahti2Ibiza-bileet Lahden The Room-yökerhossa toivat Suomen klubikulttuuriin piristysruiskeen, jota ollaan jo pitkään kaivattu.
Menestys ilta sai jatkoa elokuuussa, kun Lahti2Ibiza: Fantasy Weekend Festival tarjoili juhlimisen ystäville herkkua koko viikonlopun edestä Senssissä.

Bileissä paikanpäällä olleet ovat päässeet todistamaan eeppistä Ibiza-tunnelmaa huolella ja sydämellä
toteutetun dekoraation ansiosta. Lavarakennelmat ja valo- sekä äänisetupit ovat olleet ainutlaatuisia ja ennennäkemättömiä Suomen yökerho taivaalla.
Erikoisefektit kuten lumikoneet, suomen suurimmat saippuakuplakoneet ja Co2-tykit ovat kruunanneet lämpimän ja vauhdikkaan Ibizan tunnelman , joka on johdatellut jokaisen juhlijan mielessään Amnesian tanssilattialle edes yhden illan ajaksi.

Kovan kysynnän vuoksi 2ibiza lähtee levittämään saaren iloista tunnelmaa myös Lahden ulkopuolelle kolme biletyskaupunkia käsittävällä kiertueella.

JOONAS HAHMO (Hahmo Recordings)

If you don’t know much about Finland, one thing you should know about is Joonas Hahmo. At 28 years old, Joonas has become one of Finland’s hottest electronic music exporters! He has worked on numerous different projects during his career and one of the most successful of them is a trance collaboration called Alt+F4, which he wrote together with his friend. With this track Joonas signed his first ever record deal with the Brittish record label Anjunabeats. Not bad scouting from the label, as the track went on to become the biggest selling record on the label that year. Even today, after being included on countless compilations and played by every possible trance DJ on the planet, many people still describe it as one of the greatest Trance tracks of all time. Instant classic.

It wasn’t long after Joonas started producing trance, when he realized that it wasn’t completely his thing. He wanted to blend in other genres too and slow down the tempo a bit. At this stage Joonas decided to work on his own and in 2006 the first solo release "The Fusion" launched on AVA Recordings. The track was playlisted on world renowned radio shows A State Of Trance, Global DJ Broadcast and Trance Around The World. To put the icing on the cake, Markus Schulz included it on his Ibiza 2006 summer compilation.

After producing such a solid debut release, the success fueled him even more. Over the coming years, Joonas nurtured his production skills. “Original, creative and squeezing every trance ‘norm’ to bursting point” is how DJ Magazine described his work in a recent review. He has uniquely established his own distinctive crossover style by merging together sounds from multiple genres such as House, Electro, Trance and Progressive. From the first bar to the last beat of his productions, his sound is definitive!

In autumn 2008 Joonas released yet another impressive track named "Cocktail Bar" and Anjunabeats’s sister label Anjunadeep signed it up straight away. Once again Joonas had the full support from the biggest names in the industry, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk and Above & Beyond. The track merited a listing on the highly acclaimed Ministry of Sound - Clubber's Guide 2009 and Anjunabeats Volume 6 compilations.

Just one look at Joonas’s impressive list of past gigs confirms his rising popularity. From ‘ram-packed’ dancefloors in Russia to chic clubs in France, Joonas has also left his mark in Germany, Slovakia, Ukraine, Czech-Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and many more. Joonas's ability to merge various genres has made him a versatile trademark DJ name.

After releasing a few successful EP's on Anjunadeep label, Joonas slowly created a solid network among labels, producers, press and fans. Things led to another and finally in the spring of 2010 Joonas decided to take a giant leap forward and start his own record label Hahmo Recordings.

It was only few months since the label’s baby steps when Joonas released his next big anthem "Mojito", only this time through his very own record label. To his own surprise it went directly on to Beatport Top 20 sales chart and enjoyed heavy DJ support from the likes Calvin Harris, Above & Beyond and Armin van Buuren. The track also found it’s way on to several big compilations around the world. At this stage Joonas knew that setting up an own label was probably one of the most important decisions during his career.

2011 has already seen many successful releases from Hahmo Recordings and there is more to come as Joonas continuously seeks new and exciting ideas. A DJ and producer who is always on the cutting edge of electronic music. Through his hard work and natural talent you can expect only the best from this Finnish maestro Joonas Hahmo!

PAUL EASY


Firstly, I'm sorry to announce that this biography doesn't contain any first-time-ever-heard stories about the instruments I used to chew when I was in my mother's womb, the artists I've seen playing in same venue before or after me, or any other kind of most-interesting-info ever. This is just a basic introduction to me as a dj (and as a person as well, I guess).

I started playing records at the tender age of I-don't-remeber and after that I've been collecting records, mp3s, headphones and whatever djs need to get the job done. I've also spent enough time behind the decks to be comfortable on saying that I'm one of the most skillful techno & house djs in Finland no matter how egoistic that might sound. If you don't believe me, listen to a mix, come to my gig or spend the rest of your life thinking I'm a liar.

I'm not into self-promoting, blogging, making bulletins in myspace or making accounts to twitter or whatever to tell all the world about what I just ate or what colour was my mucus the last time I coughed. I rather spend that time on finding new interesting music and producing it. I must force myself to update my gigs to myspace but I do it to give you a possibility to come to check whether I'm lying earlier in my bio or not. Oh, and because I must have some kind of attention deficit disorder I justified myself to do a listing of the labels that have released my tracks on this point of the bio. Those are BugEyed, Planetaria, TypeSix Rec., Wicked Rec., Subtraxx and Com.pact.

I play mainly tech house with influences from various genres around it. I also like to do it with 3 or 4 cdjs to make it more interesting for the audience and myself. And yes, I play cds. I've bought my vinyls in the past but I'm too lazy to carry those around. Yet I'm so stubborn that I'm still in this pre-digital era limbo and I haven't found myself enjoying the modern ways of using computer as a music bank/record bag and somekind of software to handle those tracks. I rather do it with my hands. So yeah, I'm stuck in the past yet I'm over the "proper" past in this scene. How sad can that be? Well I guess not that sad because people still come to see me playing those cds.

When I'm not having a hard time writing a bio, updating myspace, producing music or playing it I'm propably running my After Hours -club, the only weekly afterparty in Finland. I love doing those, because the atmosphere in there is so different from the evenings. At least in my home country. I guess my past in the psychedelic trance left some kind of an urge to find some bigger experiences for the dancefloor than the latest hits. I hope it makes me special. In a good way for once. And don't get me wrong, I love playing in all kinds of parties from small bars to big one-off venues but I'm always after that same collective hypnosis thing on the dancefloor and as far as I'm concerned, dj is a part of a dancefloor as well, not some kind of god-like figure who should be making coolest ever poses every single time that the track drops the kick and bass off.

This all makes me probably sound like a bit annoying guy. Well I just might be. That's why I'm doing something so loud that you can't hear me speaking. You should be thankful. And if I'm lucky you might actually be.

J7 (Finrg)

Djane J7 is one of the top names of FINRG Hellfire army and she has been performed alongside top names of the industry, for example Proteus, Zany, Technikal, Wildstylez, BK, Adam Lab-4 and Anne Savage. She is also resident dj at the Finnish Hard Dance club "Supercharged" and a member of Harder.fi.

She has performed events such as famous Monday Bar Cruises/events, Pandemic in Poland, FINRG 512, and finnish clubs SÄDE, Fury, Supercharged, Goa, Innowation, PUG...

Djane J7's performance is filled with her enjoyment of the music, which she shares to her audience with full energy! She has also recently started to producing her own music.



JAYVEE (Finrg, Supercharged, FIN)

Jayvee (Jukka Vehmas) started his dj-career at the early 2000's. He is main promoter of notorious Finnish Hard Dance club "Supercharged" and deejays under FINRG Recordings.

He has a very technic mixing style and usually turntables are loaded with heavy batch of Hard House/German- and Hard Trance/Tech Dance/Tech Trance. Jukka has been rumbling the dance floors all around Finland as well as famous Monday Bar Cruise.

Jayvee has done numerous performances with names like Proteus, DJ RX, BK, Klubfiller, Anne Savage, Carbon Based, Karim and Lisa Pin-Up just to name a few.
